NOTE: The map above is based on geographic information from the Official Redistricting Website of the Commonwealth of Virginia. To confirm your residency in the 37th District, please use the State Board of Election's "Where Do I Vote?" online form.
This online form provides polling place information based on the address you submit. However, it does not confirm that you are a registered voter. If you can’t locate your polling place, or if you have any questions about where you should vote on the day of the election, please call the Fairfax County General Registrar’s office at 703-222-0776.
Citizens who will be absent from their city or county on the day of the election, or who are unable to go to the polls because of illness or disabilities, may vote early (in person or by mail). Valid reasons for voting absentee are available on the the Fairfax County General Registrar’s website here.
First, you need to get a Virginia Absentee Ballot Application. You can get this from your local voter registration office, or you can print one out on a computer. Download the form from the the Virginia State Board of Elections website here. Be sure the application includes the reason you need to vote absentee; the address you wish the ballot mailed to; your name, address, social security number and signature. A separate application must be completed for each election in which you need to vote absentee.
The election officials are committed to making sure you can vote. If you are 65 years or older, have a physical disability or have difficulty getting inside the polling place, the election officials can bring a ballot to you in your vehicle outside. If you have limited vision, you can vote with assistance. If you have other disabilities, you can ask someone to assist you with voting.
