Local Leadership Lines Up in Support of Marsden Senate Bid

Northern Virginia leaders back Fairfax native as best candidate to serve the 37th Senate District

(BURKE, VA) Today, Virginia Delegate Dave Marsden announced a long list of key endorsements of his bid to become Fairfax County's next state senator. Among the names on the list are notable Fairfax elected officials including Congressman Gerry Connolly (VA-11), Senate Majority Leader Dick Saslaw and Chairwoman of the Fairfax Board of Supervisors Sharon Bulova. And, in a pronounced showing of grassroots support, activists throughout the 37th District and Fairfax County have put their names behind Dave and have pledged to work tirelessly to elect him Virginia's next state senator in the upcoming special election.

"I've worked hand in hand with Dave Marsden to help homes regain value here in Fairfax County - both on the Board of Supervisors and now in Congress.
